
Dog Vaccines: dog vaccination clinic for dogs offered in November
Hillsborough County dog owners will be wagging their tails with happiness when they get free dog vaccination from the Humane Society of Tampa Bay.On Saturday, Nov. 14 from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. HSTB will be hosting the shot clinic at Riverhills Church of God in Tampa.
The free distemper/parvo and rabies vaccinations will be available to the first 1,000 Hillsborough County dogs.
Dogs must be at least 8 weeks of age (for DA2PP) or 3 months (for rabies) and leashed. Dogs who are not currently microchipped will also be eligible for this service.
Free county licenses will also be available for pets living in zip code 33617. Proof of residency within 33617 is required for the free license.
Vaccinations for cats will not be offered at this event and litters of puppies will not be vaccinated.
The services are offered on a first-come, first served basis and those interested are advised that lines form early.
