Walter, the dog who understands sign language | Dogalize
We now tell the story of a girl in Pasadena, California, and his dog Walter, who have a special bond: both were born deaf.
Walter is a mix of Chihuahua and Terrier and was left in the “Pasadena Humane Society” animal shelter along with his five brothers.
The girl’s mother saw a small photo on the shelter’s Facebook page, and decided to adopt him.
Walter and the girl have become inseparable.
Both were born deaf and have now learned to communicate with each other using sign language.
The Humane Society of Pasadena and SCPCA in California has released a video that shows both playing while she teaches sign language to puppy.
