How To Take Care Of Senior Dogs | Dogalize
Dogs avarage lifespan is about 13 years. However, life expectancy depends on breed, size, health conditions, physycal activity and diet.
Just as it happens with humans, advancing age brings problems such as overweight, arthritis and loss of vitality.
Tips for taking care of a senior dog:
– Daily activity. Taking your dog out for a 30-minute fast paced walk (no running) everyday, helps him keep fit, active, tonic and it’s also good for his blood flow and brain health.
– Teeth cleaning. Use specific toothbrush or snack bars at least three times a week.
– Checkups. Even though everything is ok with your dog’s health, take him to the vet for a general checkup once every 6/8 months.
