CatDog: The Show

CatDog revolves around the life of two conjoined brothers with different personalities. They share the same body and have no hind legs.  The main premise of the show depicts Cat as being very cultured whereas Dog is more a lover of fun and loves to chase garbage trucks, which he does, much to Cat´s dismay.

Dog loves to explore which Cat does not.  He also loves fast food restaurants and Cat hates it. The story takes place in Nearburg, a town with anthropomorphic animals and some humanoids.

CatDog: The Characters

  • Cat (voiced by Jim Cummings) is a very cultured and collected cat. His attempts to make Dog appear smarter or to do what he wants usually blow up on his face.
  • Dog (voiced by Tom Kenny) is the naive and fun-loving one.  He is a quite gullible dog with a very short attention span.  This is why Cat easily convinces him of doing what he wants.
  • Winslow T. Oddfellow (voiced by Carlos Alazraqui) is a tailless blue house living in a hole in CatDog’s house.  He is the main antagonist of the main characters.
  • The Greaser Dogs. Clifford Maurice “Cliff” Feltbottom (voiced by Tom Kenny), Shriek DuBois (voiced by Maria Bamford), and Ignatius “Lube” Catfield-McDog (voiced by Carlos Alazraqui), are three tough street dogs and secondary antagonists along with Rancid Rabbit.
  • Rancid Rabbit (voiced by Billy West) is the third antagonist of the protagonists and represents the stereotypical authority figure.

The show has received some mixed and positive reviews.  Some of these reviews considered it a bit “iffy” due to some bad role models.  It is recommended for children with ages 7 and above.  It has a score of 6.6/10 in the Internet Movie Database.
