Cat Eye Makeup
While we are not a beauty blog and definitely do not intend to offer a tutorial on cat eye makeup, we do happen to turn our heads to this trend because, well, it has to do with cats. Or at least, the look intends for women to look a bit feline.
That feline look on a woman’s face is as exotic and mysterious as cats are. But we are here to briefly explain what a cat eye makeup is, how to do one quickly, and best practices.
What is Cat Eye Makeup
Cat eye makeup mostly focuses on the eye, which what mostly provides the face with the feline look. It is called so because it mimics the line at the end of the corner of the eye, characteristic of many cats.
If you take a close look, you will notice that this feature is that one that determines the cat look that is sought after. Many women today, have discovered that with an eyeliner they can draw that wing off their eye corner and look spectacular. The look is cute, fun, and seductive at the same time. So, thank you cats.
How to Make One
Applying the makeup of the ways of the cat is actually pretty simple. You might find some shaky hands when you do it the first time, but you will quickly get the hang of it. Follow these simple steps.
- Begin by drawing a line at an angle from the corner of your eye.
- Connect the top of your flick down to the lash line and draw a triangle.
- Fill in said triangle.
- Apply more line to connect this triangle to your lash line.
- Use a Q-tip to erase mistakes. Don’t worry, nobody gets it right the first time.
- Complement with some mascara.
