Maria Sharapova and her Pomeranian, Dolce

Maria Sharapova

Maria Sharapova is gorgeous, athletic, one of the only ten women to ever win a career grand slam, and she has the best companion she can get: A Pomeranian she has named Dolce. Watching Maria Sharapova and her love for her pup is one of the cutest things you will see today.

A bit about Maria Sharapova

Maria Yuryevna Sharapova is a Russian professional tennis player, a resident of the US since 1994. She is a WTA tour competitor since 2001. Not only is she one of the ten women to hold a career Grand Slam (winner of all four major tennis competitions-Australian Open, French Open, Wimbledon, and US Open.)

The Olympic medalist is truly an achiever but we can bet that one of her greatest achievements is Dolce, her sweet Pomeranian. Sharapova is currently worth $135 million;  she probably is a lot more valuable than that for Dolce.

A bit about Dolce

Dolce actually means “sweet” in Italian. Maria Sharapova adopted Dolce back in 2006. She is a cute Pomeranian that enjoys the love and cuddles from the two-time winner of the French Open.

In August 2012, Sharapova was seen at the LAX airport on her way to New York City to launch a line of premium gummy candies known as Sugarpova. When seen there, she had a bag and a small crate where she was carrying Dolce. Her dog was not planning on staying behind for the great event so she made her master some company.

Dolce once made a commercial with Maria Sharapova for Canon.

A Bernese Mountain Dog

Since 2016, Sharapova has been sharing pictures of her and a cute Bernese Mountain Dog. This pup is named Bruiser and is now Sharapova’s and Dolce’s best friend.
