Natural pet food- When you hear the term “natural pet food” you immediately think of food that came straight “from the land to your plate”, or the pet’s bowl, in this case. This pretty much makes it clear that it will refer to you chopping down the plant to feed your dog or cutting down the meat, boil in water and serve. Simple, no additives, preservatives, artificial colorants, etc.

NATURAL – A feed or ingredient derived solely from plant, animal or mined sources, either in its unprocessed state or having been subjected to physical processing, heat processing, rendering, purification extraction, hydrolysis, enzymolysis or fermentation, but not having been produced by or subject to a chemically synthetic process and not containing any additives or processing aids that are chemically synthetic except in amounts as might occur unavoidably in good manufacturing practices.
Naturally, if you go to the store and see the “natural” label on it, you should go to the ingredients. The truth is that this will ultimately depend on what you consider is best for your pet. There is no real consensus on what it is exactly, so you will have to trust your own instinct on this one.
