Pets love: The Loss of Buddy
On July 2015, Demi Lovato and her then-boyfriend, Wilmer Valderrama, announced via Twitter the loss of Buddy, a Maltese mix. According to Demi, the puppy was killed by a coyote in her mansion’s backyard. It was grieving to hear that Demi was the one who found him dead.
The loss was definitively hard to overcome but Demi believed back then that this was a challenge for them to overcome. She also mentioned that Buddy would always live in her heart. We also feel for him as he died so unexpectedly.
Pets love: Here Comes Batman
Quite a month after, for her 23rd birthday, Valderrama gifted her girlfriend a Yorkipoo puppy. She fell in love with the puppy and decide to name him Batman.
She did not explain why she called her that, but we can fathom that the completely black fur has something to do with it.
Those who live close to them say that Demi and Batman are very close to each other. He was a big help when it came to coping with the loss of Buddy.
Pets love: Make Way for Cinderella
Like a faithful dog lover she is, there was no stopping there for Demi. In May 2017, she added Cinderella to the family. When the singer brought in Cinderella, she opened Instagram and Snapchat accounts for Batman.
